Delicious! Especially the slow roasted prime rib! The specials from 3-6 pm are phenomenal. Highly recommend:)

UPDATE: I finally got to go to J.R. Cash's. I'm very happy to report it's the same as jpeters with a few minor changes. The Honey butter crescent roll were fantastic. The house salad was awesome and the prime rib was cooked perfectly and was very tender. It was tender enough to cut with a fork. After I saw the name change from J Pete's to J.R. Cash's. I thought the place was owned by a different owner. It turns out instead of j Peter's being own by two owners it's now owned by one person. The waitress we had was awesome, even though you had a huge party in the back to take care off she got us everything we needed and keep our drinks filled. I will differently start coming back now that I know it still has the same great food and service

Amazing service, all quick! Great flavors and quality.
My only recommendation is to not get the Mac and Cheese. We have been to other J peters locations and it was homemade. I understand that this location is still "J peters" but with a different name so I thought it was important to point that out -

Wow...this was our favorite go to date nite place for dinner, but after Saturday night two days after Thankgiving 11/24/18, they dropped two stars down to THREE!
My wife's medium rare Prime Rib was the bloodiest piece of meat I have ever seen served to someone. On top of that it was served cold to the touch. It was swimming in blood when it arrived at the table. They took it back to warm it up. That's when we discovered the normally piping hot loaded mashed potatoes were also cold. Sent that back. They did heat up the prime rib and the temp was OK but now it's not medium rare. Then the heated up loaded mashed potatoes return (warm) with freshly thrown on top uncooked bacon from a bag and unmelted cheese.
That did it for us.
My potatoe soup was good. My blackened Chicken over pasta was good BUT the broccoli was almost raw (crunchy). The Sam Adams draft was definitely not Sam Adams (sour and hoppy) and sent back after 2 sips and my wife confirmed my suspension that it was not SA. Ordered a Bud (bottle) instead.
The wait staff really tried to make it right but I suspect it's kitchen problems. Not sure though.
The shift manager and the manager both apologized, but at this point, I doubt we will be back anytime soon.
Will watch further reviews from other Yelpers to see if they continue the decline, or make improvements. -

Kudos to Mike and his staff on making my husbands 60th birthday the best one he has celebrated. The food was fresh delicious and hot. Mike took the extra step of calling to confirm that we were still coming and set up private room for the family.... 1,000 thanks are not enough. Thanks Mike and the JR Cash staff.
